02/09/2014- Theatre Lesson
Today the whole theater form tutor worked together for the day, as mr rennison's took ill.We began in the lecture theater, and explored melodrama. Our task was to devise a piece in groups of 5, we needed to focus on exaggeration in almost every way.

• loud voice
• sight set on audience
• lots of body movement

These were just some of the things that we needed to focus on, my group decided to follow some of the themes that we were working on previously. After our break we resumed in the 'hut' and explored realism and naturalism, we devised our scenes to make it look like everyday situations/occurrences. Every group acted out natural events that would occur in someones everyday life.

The naturalistic scene required us to act out the highlights of our realism piece, following this we changed groups and made our own versions of the cherry orchard in much shorter versions. By the end of the day we had discussed what was required throughout the year in order for us to achieve the maximum grade.
